hey folks!
I've been busy again. After this amazing release spree we had with Hello!Fansubs, I've been working on a new round of projects to get done for the upcoming weekend. stay tuned~
But now to the real topic of this post.
I've been really excited to get my hands on the new copy of C.L. Wilsons latest book release "King of Swords and Sky" and I still haven't finished reading it. In some ways I think I don't get a connection with this book or I'm unconsciously waiting for something. My guess is, that I don't really want to read the book till the last of the books is out - which should be around June next year. I actually can't wait to read the whole story in one sitting. I've been reading into some of the book's chapters and it seems quite nice, but it's not as fascinating as the first two books where. Maybe it's really my mind dampening down on my excitement to read this. *sigh* it's really a hassle. I actually had hope to bridge the time till the last book with reading the third installment, but that seems to not work for me. I'm just glad some thing did work out in book 3, but I think I'll make this a saver, till I get my hands on the last part of the story. I really hate cliffhangers and though these books actually always have some kind of an ending with a big bang at the end, I still know that there's going to be more of this and so I still feel like the story is about to plung into a big black hole.
Well, can't be helped then. I just have to wait!
Though since I'm not satisfied with books recently I tend to buy even more.
Today five new books arrived and they are quite fine reads, though I'm not really up to reading those stories to the fullest. I'm currently skipping around in 4 diffrent books - while not reading everything I try to get the "greater meaning" of the story by skipping through parts of the story and reading the last 3 pages. After that I normally know what's going on and put the book away. *sigh* That's also very frustrating. maybe it's time I stop my excessive reading and start some quality reading again.
Anyway. that's it from me today. I'm going to work on this weekends spree. bye~

King of Sword and Sky
YAY, it's going to be released! I can't wait to get my copy. It should be here today, so I'm staying awake to open for the post guy. It's the third book in a 4-Book story, situated in a land inhabitated by everything a good fantasy book needs - dark mages, elves, fey, humans, beautiful beats... *sigh*

Shitty day!
Hello again!
I've already been back since monday this week but I was so busy, that I totally forgot to update. So here I am again. Back in my apartment, alone, and a little depressed. Today (actually yesterday) I had the first exam of a quite few I have to take this semester and guess what? Yep, I totally misjudged the enormity of the learning matter. So anyway, bottom line is, that I totally screwed up and I have to take it again somewhen in november.
This totally screws up my motivation and everything but it's definitly all my fault. First I missjudged the time I still had till the test, then I missjudged the enormity of the matter and in the end I just read books.
Bad, I know. *sigh*
Anyway, enough of the gloom. I want to tell you about the two new authors I'm currently reading. Since "Twilight" - the movie by Stephanie Meyers is coming out somewhen in december I really wanted to read the book before the movie was out - so I bought it (the book) and read it all in one day. I wasn't too sure if I'll like the genre as it's paranormal ficton for young adults. I'm normally the adult-genre reader - But In The End: This series is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay amazing and totally captivating. I couldn't keep down the book long enough to eat a proper meal. It's really great and I hope the movie is going to be as great - cause, it's definitly a home dvd buy! YES!
After finishing up the first book, I looked around and it's actually an amazing quadrilogie. I totally buyed those books right then and when I came back home on monday I had four shiny new books here. YAY \o/. I've actually been only skipping through the other three books and I definitly want to read them full as soon as I have my tests finished up. But I've also been reading some strange critics about those other three. Presumable the fourth book was diffrent and hence not quite liked. I prefer to form my own opinion so I'm definitly going to read it. Right now I can't affort the time to read *sigh* ;_; A sad fact!
While browsing through Amazon I also found another series by an author named P.C. Cast, and her daughter Kirsten Cast named "The House of Night" - a vampire school series for young adults about a kickass girl names Zoey Redbird, who is thourouly disgusted with her no-caring mother and step-loser dad, till in the blink of an eye her whole life changes, as a vampyre tracker marked her as one of the night creatures. Zoey is thrown into a world of pagan rites, gifts granted by the vampyre queen Nyx herself and schemeing old adults.
An amazing new book series is thrown at us with currently four books out, though there is bound to be more to come. I googled up the authors: P.C. Cast is actually quite known for her reenditions of some popular heroic saga material mixed up with modern 21th centuary women at Berkleys (one of my favourite book publishers) and I'm currently buying those books - can't resist. Her daughter is a Biology student, author, poetist and journalist. Amazing!
But there goes one of my ideas for a book. +sigh+ Too bad, I didn't start working on my scripts earlier. Anyway.
Please check out these amazing authors if I love vampire fiction. You're bound to be captivated!

New Book, College preparations and other stuff!
Finally my book arrived. I've been waiting an additional week for it to get here and I'm very pleased to finally have it in my hands. I've been reading it twice since tuesday last week. It concluded a lot of open storyline and opened up some new stuff and introduced new characters. I hardly can wait for the next book "Dark Slider" somewhen next year. Hopefully Feehan will revail soon who's starring the next book. I've got a lot of interesting ideas, but it's always nice to have it confirmed.Also we (from H!F) have been adding some new concert perfomances on our to-do-list. Hopefully you'll all be happy about the new stuff to come out soon. Also, I'm going to confirm here that it's me going to work on "Pepper Keibu", Momosu's latest Single. Unfortunately around the time that the Single V is going to be out, I'll have tests, which is why it'll take some time before it comes out.
I think you will all survive it.
September is slowly coming to an end and I'm starting on college preparation which is why I'm not going to be around in the next two to three weeks.
Please bear with me! I'll keep you updated when I have more time again.
For now I'm going to take a short vacation at my grandparents's and will be back next week.

reading frenzy
It's remarkable how I sometimes loose time of everything around me when I discovered a new author and indulge myself in reading as many books in as short a time as I can - which happened AGAIN. NOOOOOOOOOOs! This again explains why I wasn’t much around in the last few days.
As I just said, I found a new author who I really seem to adore. I wrote some comments on her page and she actually answered me. That never really happened before so I'm really grateful. Anyway! This post is probably about Lynn Viehl aka Sheila Kelly, who's an American novel writer in 5 different genres. She currently has about 38 books published and a few free e-books with side stories, test novels and other stuff for the fans. If you really enjoy reading a lot I recommend stopping at her blog and read those freebies. You can find the link on the right side in my navi.
Anyway. What was I about to talk about? Ah yeah, right! Lynn Viehl. She's currently publishing the Darkyn series under this penname, which is (to say it in blunt words) a vampire novel. But it's not your average blood sucking fiend you'll read about but about a species which wasn't cursed, nor reproduced by sucking someone dry and rising as vampire, but by some up-till-now undiscovered plague which alternated their DNA. Most of them thought that they were cursed by god for doing things in the crusade which they probably couldn't even change because most of them were templars - but again, that doesn't really tell you everything since some of them weren't in the crusades but also had risen as Darkyn...
Anyway. I don't want to get too much into detail about what happened to them and what those things mean, but I'll tell you about how the story started. It started - as so many other stories start - with a girl and a boy. HA! God, that sounds boring but actually the story is really twisted and funny. You'll encounter strong characters, wits and pun beyond anything I've read so far, and boy, I do read a lot. Something completely new for me was that the characters of the first booked stayed with me throughout the others, so far.
The first book starts with Alexandra and Cyprien and an unlucky encounter which results in Alex getting bitten, nearly killed, hunted by the brethrens (some zealots who think everything they don't understand is therefore demon possessed and evil), falling in love, saving the day and lives of Darkyn, getting nearly killed again, dieing and returning to the living. Wow! The first book really had some firsthand action in it.
(My neck is hurting like a bitch, damnit!)
Anyway. It's a really exiting book which lead me to read the other 4 books currently out for that series and I have to say they get better and better. Hopefully Viehl plans to release some more books!
Okay. That’s it about the books. Maybe I'll write some more if I feel like it, but right now I've also got some awesome new YouTube videos, which I'll post in the next post!

Latest GET's in my collection!!!
Weee. These past few days were pretty exciting. I've got lots of new stuff either self-purchased or as a present for my flat so I'm really happy right now.
Here's a short listing!
My latest and definitly cutest buy was this lovely Hello Kitty tea mug, which really reminds me of the starbucks emblem! I've been sipping tea all day long out of this mug today!
On the same day I had to buy new shoes since my old ones are basically done for. Whevenever it's raining my socks are soaking wet... well, you get the idea. I'm not the shopping kind of girl so basically I just walk right into the store I want and get me the first thing that fits and looks nice. So I walked into that store and after 15 minutes I was finished. *gg*
But they still look quite good, I think.
Now since that's not all, I also bought me some decoration for my breakfast table. My granny made it for her christmas bazar which actually went pretty damn well. Everyone loves her work and I was just lucky to grab a piece of her work. It's a candle on top of a little square glass plate with some evergreen and a ribbon. I really love that piece and I don't even want to light the candle!!!!
But now to my dearest, biggest and best investment in the past two weeks: my new books! Since I recently got the new bookshelf I just have to get it filled soon (yeah, my logic is great - what will I do when it's filled? dunno yet)

As soon as I've got some more free time, I'll review these for you, but bascially I'm reading like mad right now. I'm pretty good with that. I can read a 400+ pages book in approximately 4 hours, which is not a complete read-through but I get to know the complete story without missing much. I just don't go into detail reading and skip a lot of parts. It really works for the J.R. Ward and Kresley Cole books.
Oh yeah! Guess what!!!! I, again, agreed to do karaoke for NTFS even though I'm officially on vacation right now. I don't know when the hell I should do those karaokes but I'll just skip sleep or something equally stupid. I just don't know what to do right now - which suxx! I still need to finish my report!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lord have mercy with me. *sigh*
Well then. Right now I'm really tired, since I've been up since midnight which was 20 hours ago. I'm heading for the bed and my books now and of course - the orca (which I was informed is my new ~lover~), very well indeed!
oh! PS: the first present for my best friends arrived today, so hopefully the other will come tomorrow or on monday!

Has it been a week already? Oh noes... time's running way too fast for me right now.
Someone actually missed me?
Guess not!
Tomorrow I'll be writing a test, so I'll keep this post short.
The last week was kinda busy. I tried to finish a lot of work since I was asked to be done so we could release those four episodes on each sunday starting this week - which I acutally made in time, but then - you can't count on others if you want to have something finished in time. It's unfortunate, since I really put a lot of time into it, even though I didn't have the time to spend at all. I actually dismissed the idea to write a test this tuesday to finish my work on those four videos. Well can't be helped, can it? I'm not going to tell on what we're actually working, since it's going to be a surprise, but I think you'll like it. There's going to be a german and an english version of it, which will probably be really popular.
Other than that I've got to thank skarloc for helping me out on those german PV encodes. He's been working his ass off for me the last few weeks. He told me to stop thank him but I'm really grateful!! Maybe I was a little to vigorous about it? *laugh*
I've been reading a new author lately. I did some digging around and came up with her - Alexis Morgan. She's been writing on diffrent storyboards but I really was intrigued with her paladin concept. I bought her first book and I liked it. I hope to get the other volumes soon, too. I've also been searching for other arists and I hope to get the books soon. Emma Holly's Midnight series and Susan Sizemore vampire storys seem to be pretty popular so I'll check them out.
Today I've been at my friends place to get some notes on tomorrows test and I ended up talking for like 4 hours, or so. It was kinda funny though and I really like her mother. She's easy to talk with and she reminds me of my mother - though I'd never tell her that in person, at least not for now. Funny thing is we talked about our childhoods and I said I don't really had good friends back then and I was quite an outsider - which promtly was confirmed when I came back home. A friend from my last school wrote me via studiVZ, a plattform to find old friends 'n stuff, and she asked me why I wasn't at the reunion last week - HA! I wasn't even INVITED!!!!!!!!!
I can't believe it - funny thing is I've never been invited at any reunion anyway over the past years. It just strengthens my resolve to go to america in a few years. I've never fit in here and I really hope that'll be difrent once I'm over there...
Did you ever have the feeling you don't fit? At least I had it a couple too many times if you ask me.

Gierige Schatten und Bleiche Stille
Wir kommen zu den nächsten beiden Bänden der Anita Blake Reihe. Ich konnte es mir leider nicht verkneifen und habe band 5 innerhalb von 8 Stunden gelesen gehabt. Für Band 6 hatte ich wegen einer Uni-Unterbrechung etwas länger gebraucht. Jo gestern war ja Sonntag und ich hatte die zweifelhafte Ehre in die Uni zu müssen um mir dort einen 4 stündigen Vortrag über Gender Mainstreaming, Queer, Gender vs Sex und Judith Butler anhören. Alles höchst interessante Themengebiete...
wenn man drauf steht *seufz*
Dafür wurde ich mit einem guten Ende des sechsten Bandes belohnt. Was will man mehr? Keine Ahnung.

Band 5: Unverhofft kommt oft, denn Anita kommt durch mysteriöse Morde in einen Anfühererkrieg unter den Lykantropen. Was sie nicht wusste ist, dass Richard der nächste Alpha des Rudels ist und sie als seine Freundin ins Kreuzfeuer gerät. Aber nicht nur das macht ihr zu schaffen, denn sie muss sich jetzt nicht nur mit dem herrschsüchten Werwolf Marcus, sondern auch mit durchgeknallten, aggressiven Polizisten rumschlagen, die nichts gutes im Schilde zu führen scheinen. Außerdem rückt ihr Gretchen, ein Vampir, die in Jean-Claude verschossen ist, so dermaßen an die Pelle, dass sie schwer verletzt wird. Jean-Claude bestraft Gretchen zwar, merkt aber auch endlich wie nahe sich Anita und Richard stehen. Er fordert eine gleichberechtigte Chance beim Umwerben und so muss Anita zustimmen, sich mit Jean-Claude zu treffen, denn dieser droht ihr Unterschwellig mit der Ermordung Richards.
Band 6: Das Bert ein gieriger Geldscheffler ist, ist mittlerweile ja sehr bekannt, aber als er Anita einen Auftrag anschwatzt, wo sie nicht nur einen rießigen Friedhof gleichzeitig erheben sollte, waren da auch 200 Jahre alte Tote dabei. Da sie allerdings im ganzen Land die einzige ausgewiesene Expertin und Totenbeschwörerin war, blieb ihr gewungernermaßen nichts anderes übrig und sie nahm gemeinsam mit Larry, ihrem neuen Lehrling, den Auftrag an. Als sie dann in der näheren Umgebung zu 2 verschiedenen Mordschauplätzen mit toten Jugendlichen gerufen wird, muss sie reagieren, denn dabei handelte es sich schon um einen übernatürlichen Massenmord durch einen Vampir. Aber diesmal arbeiteten nicht nur die Monster gegen sie, sondern auch die Polizei und das FBI selbst. Sie ist sich ziemlich sicher, dass ein Vampir diese Morde begangen hat und sucht Rat bei Jean-Claude, der sie mit dem hiesigen Meistervampir bekannt machen sollte, doch das erweist sich als großer Fehler. Jean-Claude wird von einem der Handlanger getötet und Anita belebt ihn verzweifelt mit ihrem eigenen Blut wieder. Dann taucht auch noch ein sehr unkooperativer Dunkelelf auf, der verhindern will, dass Anita das Massengrab erweckt.
Anita wird mit 2 ihrer größten Ängste konfrontiert: dem Tod ihrer Mutter und der Tatsache, dass sie Jean-Claude nun nicht mehr als Monster betrachtet...

Dafür wurde ich mit einem guten Ende des sechsten Bandes belohnt. Was will man mehr? Keine Ahnung.

Band 5: Unverhofft kommt oft, denn Anita kommt durch mysteriöse Morde in einen Anfühererkrieg unter den Lykantropen. Was sie nicht wusste ist, dass Richard der nächste Alpha des Rudels ist und sie als seine Freundin ins Kreuzfeuer gerät. Aber nicht nur das macht ihr zu schaffen, denn sie muss sich jetzt nicht nur mit dem herrschsüchten Werwolf Marcus, sondern auch mit durchgeknallten, aggressiven Polizisten rumschlagen, die nichts gutes im Schilde zu führen scheinen. Außerdem rückt ihr Gretchen, ein Vampir, die in Jean-Claude verschossen ist, so dermaßen an die Pelle, dass sie schwer verletzt wird. Große Schlangen, 4 Zeichen und die Gewissheit zu sterben...
Ja, die Überschrift beschreibt in etwa den dritten Band der Anita Blake Reihe und ich habe ihn in sage und schreibe 24h ausgelesen. Scheiße, der war so gut geschrieben, dass ich 1. lauthals lachen musste, 2. mit dir selbst geredet hab und 3. und nicht mehr aus der Hand legen konnte (außer für eine kleine Schlafpause gestern Vormittag). Ich bin immer wieder erstaunt, dass ich 300 Seiten in 5 Stunden schaffe, aber wenn es dann um Uniliteratur geht, ich nichtmal 20 Seiten in einer Stunde schaffe (wenn ich nicht voll bei der Sache bin). *kopfschüttel* Allerdings spüre ich jetzt auch die schleichende Verspannung in meinem Nacken. Böses Ding.
Gestern bevor ich den dritten Band angefangen habe, habe ich intelligenterweise auch gleich die 2 nächsten Bände der Reihe bei Amazon bestellt. Ich hoffe, dass sie heute, zu meiner großen Freude, im Briefkasten liegen werden.

Anita eilt zum Schauplatz und stellt entsetzt fest, dass sich nicht nur ein Vampir sondern gleich 5 an ihm genährt haben und zu allem Überdruß steigt dieser dann auch noch aus dem Grab und bringt Leute um. Doch die Morde reißen nicht ab und so gibt es bald ein zweites Opfer. Anita steckt in Schwierigkeiten, denn die rechte radikale Human First Gemeinschaft greift sie bei einem ihrer Aufträge an, und retten sie noch in der gleichen Nacht vor einem neuen Vampirrudel, mit einem mächtigen Vampirmeister darin, der Anita das erste Zeichen aufzwingt. Jetzt hat sie nicht nur ein neues Vampirrudel am Hals, sondern auch Jean-Claude spielt seine Spielchen mit ihr. Anita ist verzweifelt, und da lernt sie den attraktiven, jungen Richard kennen, der sehr an ihr interessiert zu sein scheint. Anita lässt sich darauf ein und verabredet sich. Doch zu dieser Verabredung soll es nicht kommen und sie gerät in einen spektakulären Kampf zwischen Jean-Claude und einem uralten Meistervampir, der älter ist, als die Zeit selbst. Zu allem Überfluß bekommt sie von dem Vampir Alejandro das 4te Zeichen aufgesetzt und soll Jean-Claude umbringen. Stattdessen wehrt sie sich und entledigt sich nicht nur Alejandros, sondern auch der mittlerweile 3 Zeichen von Jean-Claude und dem über 1 Millionen Jahre alten Vampirs Oliver.

Vampire, Vauduun und Zombies... Teil2!
Wie ich beim letzten Mal schon geschrieben habe, bin ich gerade total versessen auf eine Buchreiche von Laurell Hamilton, nämlich "Anita Blake". In einer gestrigen Marathonsitzung habe ich die "letzten" 300 Seiten auf einen Sitz gelesen. Ich war natürlich erst morgens um 6 Uhr fertig, aber was solls. ;) Das Buch wars wert, wobei leider der Showdown 1. zu kurz und 2. zweigeteilt war. Das war irgendwie schade. Wenn man über 400 Seiten hat und der Showdown nicht einmal 5 Seiten hat, wird man irgendwie traurig. Naja egal. Der nächste Band liegt schon bei mir am Bett und wartet darauf verschlungen zu werden. Vermutlich beginne ich sogar heute Nacht noch mit lesen *lach*
Wie ich mir das leisten kann? ^^ Bis zum 19.3. sind meine Prüfungen vorbei und meine Vorlesungen beginnen erst am Sonntag. Ich bin ja so ein Glückspilz.

Bert und Anita gehen zu Harold Gaynors Haus um dort eine Zombieerweckung zu besprechen und sie bekommt ein fürstliches Gehalt dafür geboten. Bert möchte schon fast die eine Millionen Dollar annehmen, aber Anita weigert sich, denn so ein Preis wird nur geboten wenn man dazu eine hornlose weiße Ziege braucht, was nichts anderes bedeutet wie ein Menschenopfer. Als dann auch noch zerstückelte/zerrissende Mordopfer auftauchen und Anita von der Spuktruppe um Hilfe gebeten wird, beginnt der Stress erst richtig. Manny, Anitas ehemaliger Ausbilder, begleitet sie zu einer Senora Dominga Salvatore, die eine bekennende und vermutlich auch die stärkste Vauduunpriesterin in der ganzen Umgebung ist. Anita hat den leisen verdacht, dass bei einer Erweckung eines Zombies etwas schiefgegangen ist, da das Tötungsmuster nich nach einem Vampir oder Ghul schließen lässt, und irgendwo müsste sie ja anfangen nachzuforden, oder?
Als sie dann noch daheim von Zombies angegriffen wird, geht es ihr nicht unbedingt besser und ausgerechnet dann will Jean-Claude (der neue Meister der Stadt) auch noch was von ihr. Sie hats einfach nicht leicht. Auf der Suche nach Informationen stoßen sie auf die nächsten Leichen und ihnen wird bewusst, dass sie sich beeilen müssen. Zu allem Überdruß findet sie heraus, dass diese Dominga es geschafft hat Zombies zu erwecken und ihnen eine Seele einzusetzen, was sie sozusagen unverwesbar macht. Anita muss sich auf den Kampf mit dem Untoten einlassen, der die Familien brutal ermordet hat, dann stellt sie sich dem Kampf Gaynors und der Voodoopriesterin. Dabei entdeckt sie eine neue Kraft: Sie ist eine Totenbeschwörerin.

Freie Zeit mal anders...
Man stelle sich vor! Eigentlich sollte ich lernen, denn heute habe ich eine Prüfung in Kommunikationstheorien, aber es kommt natürlich anders als man denkt. Übers Wochenende war ich mit meiner Tante gemeinsam bei meiner Oma, einfach um mal ein bisschen auszuspannen. Ich hab dort natürlich auch gelernt *hust*, ganze 6 Stunden. Naja was soll.
Dafür habe ich aber ein neues Buch ausgelesen, dass ich erst am Freitag angefangen hatte (Sonntag war ich fertig, wobei ich Samstag nicht gelesen hab). Gott echt spannend. Auf der Suche nach Backgroundinfos und weiteren Teilen der Buchreihe von Laurell Hamilton fand ich heraus, dass es -_- 22 Bücher von der Reihe gibt. Meine Reaktion kann man sich vorstellen: *WTF* O________________O
Natürlich hab ich erstmal die nächsten 2 Bücher gekauft um weiterzulesen, was ich natürlich gestern Abend wieder gemacht habe. Soviel zum Thema lernen. Weit bin ich allerdings noch nicht gekommen. Ich hoffe es ist so spannend wie das Erste.
Ich spreche dabei von Laurell K. Hamiltons Buch Bittersüße Tode (Guilty Pleasures), in dem es um Anita Blake geht. Die Serie spielt in einem fiktiven St. Louis und einer USA, in der es seit zwei Jahren legal ist Vampir zu sein. Anita ist eine Animatorin und Vampirkillerin und arbeitet Teils für eine Agentur (Animators Inc.), die sich auf das Wiederbeleben von Toten spezialisiert hat, und teils für die Polizei von St. Louis als Tatortermittlerin der R.P.I.T (gesprochen "rip it"), einer Spezialeinheit für übernatürliche Verbrechen, wobei es sich bei dem "Übernatürlich" nicht um irgendwelche Aliens handelt, sondern um Vampire, Lykantropen, Zombies und Ghule.
Auch dieses Mal wird sie wieder zu einem mysteriösen Schauplatz gerufen, denn es handelt sich um einen weiteren Vampirmord. Auch wenn man glauben mag, dass Anita nichts gegen einen weiteren "toten" Vampir haben mag, sieht sie es doch als Aufgabe den Verbrecher zu schnappen. Allerdings wird sie nicht nur von der Polizei angeheuert den Fall zu lösen, sondern auch vom "Meister der Stadt" - einem Vampir.
Mehr verrat ich dann auch nicht mehr. Ich würde sagen, lest es einfach selbst. Der Stil ist ausergewöhnlich und sehr angenehm zum lesen. Mit sicherheit eines der besten Bücher seit langem, die ich gelesen hab. oO Übrigens ist es in Amerika schon 1994 zum ersten mal erschienen.
Von der Reihe gibt es bisher 15 Bände, davon sind 6 in Deutschland erschienen. Wie es scheint, kommen jedes Jahr 2 weitere Bücher raus (Ich steig 100% auf die englischen Bücher auf... shit :P so lange will ich nämlich nicht warten)

Wolfgang Hohlbeins Dunkel
Ein faszinierendes Buch, dass aber etwas Geduld erfordert. Die Geschichte kommt nur sehr langsam in Schwung, ist teilweise etwas verwirrend und findet am Ende ein furioses Ende.
Darin wird die Geschichte von Jan erzählt, der als junger Mann in der Toilette eines Kinos zusammenbricht und einen Herzinfakt erleidet. Aber nicht nur er ist Opfer dieser schrecklichen Anfälle, denn schon viele andere Leute erlitten im Umkreis des Kinos solche Anfälle, der Grund bleibt aber unentdeckt. Anfangs dachte Jan einfach, dass er Glück hatte, denn der arme Kerl, der neben ihm auf der Toilette das gleiche Schicksal teilte, ist gestorben. Aber Jan hatte nicht das Gefühl, dass er wirklich eine Herzattacke hatte. Für ihn war es eher ein Gefühl von Pain und Schmerz, ein Gefühl des ausgesaugtwerdens und des Todes. Aber nicht nur das war es, was ihn glauben lies er hätte ein Problem.
Er sah Schatten, dunkle Gestalten, fürs freie Auge nicht sichtbar aber trotzdem vorhanden. Sie folgten ihm und einer machte ihn stuzig. Verloren in seinen Gedanken, festgehalten von unsichtbaren Ketten, die ihn aufzuhalten versuchen. Die Frage ist nur... Wer sind diese dunklen Schatten und warum hat er immer das Gefühl beobachtet zu werden?

Die Geschichte um Jan und die Vampirin Vera kommt erst langsam ins Laufen... Wichtig ist, dass man sich darauf einlassen muss, denn von nichts kommt leider auch nichts. Man kann viele Parallelen zu anderen Vampirgeschichten erkennen, aber mir fehlt die Komplexität der Geschichte.
