The unbelievable Panda!!

Hey everyone!
I just came back from the cinema where we (Philipp and I) watched an absolutely awesome movie. I'm talking about KUNG-FU PANDA (picture to the left), a movie about a panda bear who longs to be a Kung-Fu Master but doesn't really think he can be. Unfortunately nobody else believes in him either till the great master dies and everyone HAS to believe in him to fight against the "bad guys". Through a lot of action, funny dialogues and awesome animation this movie definitly is one of the best animation movies this year - okay, there aren't a lot out yet but _dang_ it's really awesome.
Anyway... if you haven't watched it yet, consider it. It's a lot of fun - the whole room was laughing - and some heartfelt moments are in there too.

Oh well, now I'm tired. It's the first movie since over 4 weeks and I have to catch up on so many movies. God, I wasn't able to do anything in Frankfurt - but that's another story.

Double-Releases are a Bitch!

Hey folks!

Tell you what? Releasing a video twice with diffrent effects for diffrent groups is a bitch!!!!
I've been working all day on this PV for H!F, which I already did onces for my german PV group. But since H!F wants diffrent effects I'm doing it all over again - which isn't that bad actually. The thing is I'm re-doing effects I already did onces and really liked back then. And now I'm doing totally diffrent effects and it just doesn't really work out. It's now 30 minuts after midnight and I'm working on this shit since I woke up this morning which was around midday. I did 4 diffrent versions while 3 of them were total failures and I started anew every time.
Finally I've got it nearly as I had envisoned it... well okay. No, scratch that. they are completely diffrent but they still look fine and SC seems to be okay with them! GOD, YES!
Well, anyway. I hope to finish them soon.

But I also have good news! I finally found an editor to work on the translation for the german releases! YES! I had a really good Editor a few weeks ago but since about a month I'm always running behind him and trying to catch his attention to finish the stuff I've been waiting for. I'm nearly out of releases - well okay, I AM out of releases - and desperatly need new stuff! I finally got ahold of cYcLoNe (a friend of mine who already worked with me in anime fansubs) and he finished all the pending edits in less than 4 hours!! YOOOOOOOOSHHA! Finally new edits which results in new stuff to encode!! HAHA.... skarloc will hate me for the work he's getting now... but XD HA! I'm so happy!

Today I also grabbed my new package from the post office in which I finally received my copy of Christine Feehan's Dark Hunger Manga (which looks nice, but isn't quite my style - had to have it anyway, since I'm a huuuuuuuuge fan!!!!) and my copy of "Shifters", an anthology with Angela Knight, Lora Leigh, Virginia Kantra and Alyssa Day. Can't wait to read it... which I will start in a few minutes ^^ HA!

Well.. that's it for today! oh wait! just a quick thought about yesterday! Was watching "horton hears a who!" at the cinema! AWEsome fun! XD byeee~

Christmas' coming and I've got the mad urge to tell you what presents you going to get from me - but I so won't do it. It would spoil the whole meaning of a "present".
The last 2 weekends quite were interessting. We released 6 new PVs in a short time period, kinda like a special. If everything goes like I planned, we're going to have another 8 videos in a couple of days.
Now since that was Kizuna talk, here's Mognet!
We first thought about not doing a themed pv special but in the end we ended up again with lots of new videos which actually fit christmas or winter. Now since I'm a little too busy for my liking I'm only going to finished 5 christmas pvs total and the others either have to wait another year or we're going to finish them in january/february.

Anyway... something entirely diffrent - I've been running around in a multimedia store and came across a little SOMETHING! Now here's ... THE GRINCH! He is a popular cartoon character created by Dr. Seuss. He first appeared in the 1957 children's book, "How the Grinch Stole Christmas!". This was followed in 1966 by a popular television special, produced by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's MGM Animation/Visual Arts studio, and directed by Chuck Jones. In 1977, Seuss responded to the fan request for more Grinch tales by writing "Halloween Is Grinch Night", a Halloween special that aired on CBS. Like its predecessor, the sequel was recognized at the Emmy awards. In 1982, Marvel green-lit "The Grinch Grinches the Cat in the Hat", which was also produced by Dr. Seuss, under his real name, Ted Geisel. This third special garnered two Emmy awards.
After Seuss's death, a 1999 live-action feature film adaptation was produced. Directed by Ron Howard, it featured Jim Carrey in the titular role and was a major financial success. Although a box-office hit, the film received mostly negative reviews, comparing it unfavorably to the book and the television special. The movie fleshes out the Grinch's story by showing the Grinch as a youngster. [honestly stolen from wikipedia ;) thank you very much!]

If you ever want to watch it you've got to wait for christmas, and you should make sure you watch it because it's hillarious. Never forget it's a child story and should be fun for the whole family and not some drama-omg-I've-got-to-cry "stuff of dreams".

Sashiburi!

Well, it's been quite a while, since I last wrote an entry. Sorry about that. The last week was kinda busy and I slept way too much most of the time.
I just try to get to the bottom of everything I did!

Uhm, well first of all, I read a lot - which isn't something entirely new *haha*. The new part is that I started writing on a new story, in English this time. This is something totally new to me!! It’s pretty hard to write in a foreign language, but lots of patience helps a lot. I think it'll be okay. I just have to stick with it.

I did some new karaoke works in the last few days. I actually finished the everything anything video by Leah Dizon last weekend.I think it turned out pretty good, since nobody objected to it. I also started on a new PV by AKB48. It's one of skarloc's favourites, and since he did all the encodes for me for the past few days, I decided to work on it now. It too turned out very good; I just have to finish typesetting on the cell phone scenes in there. But I guess I'll be done by next week, or so.
But that's not all I did. I also finally worked some more on the upcoming "Amazing Nuts" videos Kizuna is doing with subs4u and Mognet. The first of 3 episodes is basically done. It just needs some tweaking.Here's a picture from the inside karaoke of episode 3; Koda Kumi - Twinkle. I thought I just keep it simple and enjoy the video so basically you see a lot of stars falling down, which should resemble the "twinkle twinkle" in this video. It was kinda fun to write that, especially since I used the same effect for 4 lines in everything anything. Thanks to Bambus for pointing out how that fucking effect works. I tried to write that one for like 4 months now, but I never quite finished it and it didn't want to work.
Well, beside working on karaoke, reading and sleeping, I also went to watch a movie with my friend Philipp yesterday. We ended up watching Joe Wright's adaptation of Ian McEwan's Book "Atonement" (Abbitte), starring James McAvoy and Keira Knightley. Fledgling writer Briony Tallis, as a 13-year-old, irrevocably changes the course of several lives. In the summer of 1935, Briony observes a flirtation between a servant's son, Robbie (James McAvoy), and her older sister, Cecilia (Keira Knightley), that she childishly misconstrues. Briony's misunderstanding leads to a terrible crime whose consequences follow them through World War II."You can only imagine the truth", the center piece of the whole movie only registers after everything changed and changed for all time.
I really loved Joe Wright's interpretation of this book. Maybe I'm a bit biased but I also loved his first cinema production "Pride & Prejudice" (Stolz und Vorurteil). I don't know how often I already watched that movie. Well okay, I love Jane Austen’s novels, so that shouldn’t surprise at all, right?
Anyway…I’ve been writing on this blog entry for 4 hours now, and I didn’t accomplish anything in that time. The entry isn’t even long and I don’t know anymore what I even wanted to write or say with this post.
*sigh* Never mind!!

Do you see the star?

What can I say ... Wait! Lemme get a grip on my thoughts. Lets start at the beginning.
I just went to the cinema with my best friend Philipp. We're doing that a lot in general, cause we're both movie-freaks! Sometimes we were up to one film ea week. Depends on the program tho!
Today we first did some shopping, cause I was actually looking for a bookshelf. Well, you can imagine what happens when a girl goes into a big mall and trys to "find" something. I ended up with a big painting of buddah (which I actually wanted to buy a year ago), a cookie jar, a pizza slicer and a juice pitcher for my fridge. O_O sugeeeeeee!
After that we went to watch the movie "Stardust" (Der Sternenwanderer) which was originaly a novel published by Neil Gaiman. The movie was just plain great! It's the story about a young guy named Tristan and his journey to become a man, find true love and become the next king of a coutnry - sounds like crap? Well actually it isn't!! First I thought the same, cause that's just the story we can hear about anywhere and it just seemed to be another fantasy-romance story with a lot of celebrities to star as actors. I mean there's Claire Danes, Michelle Pfeiffer, Peter O'Toole and Robert De Niro?! Okay no... that's not a criteria for a good movie, but this one was.
The story evolves around Tristan who wants to impress the citys beauty Victoria by going through the hole in the wall and bring back the fallen star. The wall always was there and protected. It is said, that if you walk through that hole you get into another world called Faerie. In the land of faerie, in the kingdom of Stormhold the old king died, leaving the throne vacant for the sons must find the old rubin to claim the throne for themselves. But the rubin has a mind of its own and climbs up high in the sky and comes back down together with the north star. The north star, actually a beautiful girl named Yvaine, always dreamed of the world of mankind, always watching from above and wishes to fall in love once and for all time. Meanwhile Tristan learns that his mother also was from the other side of the wall and his father went their once to fall in love but never be able to get back. She left him a gift with which Tristan is able to travel through space if he but wishes to do so. But instead of going to his mother he thinks about finding the fallen star for Victoria and so he travels to the place where the fallen star landed, but he doesn't find a piece of star but a beautiful girl sitting on the ground. Unfortunately not only he is after the "fallen star", but also the three Lilim Witches and it seems like the three remaining sons from the old king, because Yvaine carries the rubin around her neck now. And believe me, the journey of 100 miles back to the wall will turn into a deadly but rather funny adventure!
I don't like to rate movies, cause sometimes my taste of them changes, but out of the fantasy genre which I really love I rate this one an A+ and that means something. I can hardly wait to get the DVD in my hands, or I might just go out to watch the movie again in a few weeks.

Anyway! another funny episode from my day! Philipp gave his hairdryer a name: RUDOLF! o_O silly, isn't it? We were talking about various stuff and I played with my hair and said that it was still wet from washing a few hours ago, and he asked why I don't blow-dry them and I said that I really hated to blow dry. He then told me about the death of his beloved old hair dryer and now he has a new one. I just looked at him as if he sprouted another head and he said "Don't look at me like that or I will give my new dryer a name." Since I just raised my eyebrows on that, he named his dryer "Rudolf"!!!!! *hahahaha*

When I was home after the cinema I decided to write this post (which was actually nearly 4 hours ago) but while I browsed through the web I acidently came across youtube and again -_- I spend most of the time there watching funny stuff. While I did that, browsing though stack competitions, old japanese shows and guiness world record clips I came across this one: Shoking, isn't it? Well I'm really happy that the former boy - now man - still lives and is happy.

Der mit dem Tod tanzt!

Und ich konnte es ein weiteres Mal nicht lassen und stürzte mich gestern wissbegierig auf den nächsten Band der Anita Blake Reihe. Wie auch schon bei Band 4, habe ich das gesamte Buch innerhalb von 8 Stunden ausgelesen gehabt. Es ist mitunter der beste Band der Reihe... Ich musste Kapitel 39 und 40 gleich zwei Mal lesen, weil ich nicht glauben konnte was da stand O______O'''. Es ist faszinierend, wie sie die einzelnen Szenen beschreibt und vorallem wieviel Gefühl dahinter steht. Vielleicht hab ich wirklich eine sehr gute Fantasie, aber wenn ich ein Buch lese, kann ich mir jeden Schauplatz genau vorstellen und jede Bewegung, was sich dabei für Energien aufspielen. Es ist wirklich interessant. Ich hoffe einmal auch so gut schreiben zu können, ohne dabei verlegen zu werden.

Allerdings verstehe ich jetzt auch die kritischen Stimmen, die Hamilton mit ihren Büchern provoziert hat. Sie sind verständlich, wenn man den Kontext versteht, vorallem wenn man bedenkt, dass die USA sehr katholisch ist. Sie schreibt über Gefühle, aber vorallem über dunkles Verlangen und Sehnsüchte. *schulterzuck* Ich finde es faszinierend. ;P Was solls.

Heute war ich noch mit meinem besten Freund im Kino. Wir haben uns den Film "Pans Labyrinth" angetan, und glaubt mir, ich war überrascht. Der Film war als Fantasy Thriller ausgeschrieben und das kam auch knapp hin. Er war zwar nicht besonders gruselig oder so, aber man saß am Ende des Films da und dachte nur: "Was für ein schaurig-schönes Märchen." Daher, einfach wärmstens zu empfehlen. Faszinierend war, dass das ein spanischer Film war, oder auch mexikanisch... das weiß ich nicht genau. Die Special Effects waren genial, aber nicht zu übertrieben. Die Story war traurig und fantasievoll. Was möchte man mehr von nem Märchen? Ich freu mich schon auf "Die Brücke nach Terabithia". Hoffentlich ist der auch schön. Ich steh ja so auf Fantasy-Filme. YAAAAAY \(^-^)/

Die Beziehung zwischen Richard und Anita wird immer besser. Mittlerweile sind sie über 7 Monate zusammen und beide können sich nur noch schwer zusammenreißen um nicht übereinander herzufallen. Wie tugendhaft?!... Doch die Entscheidung im Rudel muss bald getroffen werden. Entweder Marcus oder Richard muss sterben, oder die Rivalität innerhalb des Rudels eskalliert. Außerdem drängt Richards Rudel ihn endlich eine Gefährtin, eine Lupa, zu suchen. Er fechtet mit sich selbst einen inneren Kampf, denn er hat Angst vor dem was passieren könnte, wenn er sich dem Biest endgültig hingibt und tötet. Anita stellt sich hinter ihn und will ihm egal was passiert zur Seite stehen und so machen Richards Anhänger sie zur Lupa. Doch Anita weiß anfangs nicht, was das für sie bedeuted. Außerdem ist sie sich nicht über ihre Gefühle klar, denn sie liebt sowohl Richards als auch Jean-Claude, obwohl die Liebe unterschiedlich und dennoch stark ist. Aber nicht nur das birgt dieses Mal Probleme. Anita wird von Edward, ihrem Killerkollegen und Freund, angerufen und darüber in Kenntnis gesetzt, dass auf sie ein Mordanschlag geplant ist. Jemand hat den Auftrag gegeben Anita innerhalb von 24 Stunden zu töten, und darauf ein Kopfgeld von einer halben Millionen Dollar ausgesetzt. Edward verspricht ihr, auf sie aufzupassen und Anita flieht in die Arme (und das Haus) Richards. Doch selbst da ist sie nicht wirklich sicher und in der Nacht darauf flieht sie in Jean-Claudes Unterschlupf, wo sie von Vampiren und Wölfen beschützt wird. Während Anita fieberhaft überlegt, wie sie Richard bei seinem Kampf gegen Marcus unterstützen kann, kommen Jean-Claude und Richard auf die Idee. Sie möchten mit Anita ein Triumvirat schließen, also eine Verbindung der Dreien untereinander, was größtenteils auf Lust, Verlangen und Zorn basiert. Mit der sich dabei aufbauenden Macht, müsste es ihnen gelingen nicht nur Richards Macht zu steigern, sondern auch Jean-Claude die Macht zu geben, sein Revier vor anderen Meistervampiren zu verteidigen. Dabei entdecken sie tatsächlich eine überwältigende Macht, die für sie Drei etwas besonderes darstellt. Außerdem will Anita endlich einen weiteren Schritt in der Beziehung mit Richard machen und bittet ihn, sich vor ihr zu verwandeln, damit sie sein Biest umarmen und akzeptieren kann. Doch Richard kommt damit nicht ganz zurecht, denn er hat Angst, dass er Anita verlieren könnte, oder schlimmer noch, sie verstoßen würde, weil sie ihn akzeptiert. Als Edward dann endlich herausfindet wer der Auftraggeber des Mordanschlags an Anita ist, ist die Entscheidung der Drei gefallen. Marcus hat den Auftrag gegeben. Er hat die Lupa bedroht und dafür muss er sterben. Doch die Geschichte ist verhakter als man denkt. Richard tötet Marcus, verwandelt sich auf Anita und sie kommt damit nicht klar, größtenteils nur, weil Richard Marcus Fleisch gefressen hat. Sie flüchtet sich in eine heiße Liebesnacht mit Jean-Claude und verliert dadurch Richard, der ihr zwar versichert sie für immer zu lieben, aber nicht mit ihr zusammen sein kann. Außerdem muss Anita drei von Jean-Claudes Zeichen in kauf nehmen um Jean-Claude in Richard vor dem anderem Triumvirat zu schützen, dass ihnen so nebenbei noch nach dem Leben trachtet...
