Finally my book arrived. I've been waiting an additional week for it to get here and I'm very pleased to finally have it in my hands. I've been reading it twice since tuesday last week. It concluded a lot of open storyline and opened up some new stuff and introduced new characters. I hardly can wait for the next book "Dark Slider" somewhen next year. Hopefully Feehan will revail soon who's starring the next book. I've got a lot of interesting ideas, but it's always nice to have it confirmed.

The other song I was working was the Rakuten Eagles support theme by °C-ute, which was released late march. I was thinking along the lines of: "to make c-ute fans happy since latest single won't be out for another two weeks at least". Unlike yuke yuke this video went fairly fast. I only needed one forenoon to get it out and it had some nice effects. I drew two parts of the official logo by the team the "E" and the "S" as shapes and let them fly. I also used stars and baseballs in it. Generelly I tried to keep the theme of the song in mind and the predecessor with GAM and what effects we used there. This wasn't as hard and therefore not really worth talking about though I was happy when I finished it. One less video to work on. Next will probably be the new °C-ute song which will be out next week.

Thanks go to LAILU for his outstanding timing skills in this one. He made some of the nifty effects possible by timing the script accordingly. I held the effects a little subdued due to the colorful color sheme used in this video. I don't thing I really have to tell you more. Please enjoy.
The next video release I actually made like 8 months before we released it. Kumama had some problems encoding it and then it was forgotten. Luckily in the end we were able to release it - which I'll be eternally grateful for. We actually released the normal and the DanceShot version of this song. I know it was already relaesed by H!F - but, strange as it is, I was actually way before that finished with mine - we just hadn't encoded it then. I'm taking about °C-ute - Tokaikko Junjou...
I really had lots of fun working on this one. Some said the font choice for the translation is a little odd, but you'd have to take a close look on the t-shirt Ai is wearing. It's actually the same font!! Oh well.
The other release is also from the same concert, but a much older song. The original version was released 1999 by T&C Bomber (another long forgotten Band). "ENDLESS LOVE ~I Love You More~" was performed by Maeda Yuki, Inaba Atsuko, Miyoshi Erika and Okada Yui. Inaba Atsuko is the only original band member still left from T&C Bomber. She's currently a soloist and MC for H!P. The video effect idea came from the star shower at the beginning seen on the TV-Screens in the background. I actually used small hearts. Something you'll problably not see is that the effect alone cost me 6 hours to make since it's a lot of diffrent layers on top of the other to generate that small strip of white to move around. I definitly won't do an effect like that again - YEECH! Other than that, please enjoy!
SMAP - Dangan Fighter is a little slow in coming. The video is held in grey colors at the beginning and chances to colors in the middle. I tried to go with the scheme and had grey primary colors and only a color highlight.
At least I was able to visit an old friend near Koblenz. Wonderful scenery around there... Really! I've never seen the Main River before.

Time to catch up again. A few hours ago H!F released one of my videos. This time it was definitly one of the songs I really, really, reaaaaally wanted to do. I was actually dying to do it since I really loved it since it was released. We're talking about BerryZ Koubou - Warachaou yo BOYFRIEND, one of my favourite songs by Berryz. I was able to persuade SC to help me out on this since the version jh!p released I really didn't liked. I had the opinion that a song which is constantly singing about baloons should have baloons in it.
As for the effect I was a little restricted since I had to use the same colors and fonts we already use for the first athena song. I also had to try to match it with the style we choose for them but still try to make it my own (dunno if you'll understand what I mean). I think I pretty much succeded with it. I really love this song and performance.
The other song that was released was sona - harari hirari, which is an awesome sakura-themed song. It's also the theme song to the anime movie "Harukanaru Toki no Naka de ~Maihitoyo~" which I don't know at all, but I liked the manga. Oh well. This was basically an on the spot thing, since I got the timing from someone who told me "do it if you like, if not it's okay too". I actually like this song a lot. It was released under Mognet.

Well. These video effects are pretty new, since I never actually did them before - YAY!
H!F released "The Bitch", which is my lovely synonym for one of my latest videos. I could still slap it around for being sucht a bitch to work on but I eventually finished it and now it's done and released. I'm talking about Morning Musume - Go Girl! Koi no Victory, one of the first Momosu songs I ever saw or heard of. It's pretty amazing that it's already a reaaaaaaaaally old song compared to some other stuff. Nevertheless I really hated to do it. As I wrote in one of the previous posts (where I didn't exactly say which video I was working on, but just that it was a bitch to work on) I already did this video once, so I had major problems in figuring out a new effect which included the instructions I got before I started on it. In the end I think it turned out pretty nicely. We decided on using diffrent colors for the diffrent groups which origined in the style of their clothing. If you look closely you'll see that some girls have a yellow, white, red or blue theme to their clothes. This is what we worked with. Most of the time it doesn't fit to the Close-up, but that's not our fault, but the fault of the people who made that video. *lol* Anyway. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as everyone else - except me - did.
When I first saw the video a few weeks ago (I knew the song long before that and actually know lots of lyrics by heart from this group, but I don't know any videos) I was acutally stunned. It was so pretty and so completely diffrent to what I thought it would look like. Sometimes I forget that these songs are really, really, reaaaaaaaally old. Anyway. This song had two conditions which Kumama told me before I even started. First: She wanted it to look like falling rain and rippling water. Second: She wanted "wind". Okay. So how do you do those two elemental effects on screen? Guess what? I think I did it. Kumama was jumping all over the place because I hit it right at the first try and we were finally able to release this awesome song.
The other video was a special request by Kumama. Kumama and Stiltzkin (both are my boss' at Mognet) are big lovers of a series called "Sakura Taisen", which had many diffrent releases for diffrent genres. I actually know about an anime, a live-action, shows on theaters, games and probably a lot more. Another thing there is in the Sakura Taisen theme is a cafe which will be closing its doors at the end of this month after over 10 years of business (if I remember right). And guess what? Yes! It closes right before she's able to get there. She's quite devasteted about it. So to celebrate the spring with it's Sakura event and in memory of the Sakura Taisen cafe we releaed the live-action dance instruction PV called Yokoyama Chisa - Geki! Teikoku Kagekidan.
